Privacy policy

Netcoder collects the minimum needed to run this site and answer your requests. This page explains what is collected, why, and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible

Netcoder is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. For any question about the protection of your information, write to privacy@netcoder.com.

What we collect

  • What you send us: when you write to us or book a meeting, we receive your name, your email and the content of your message. We use them only to reply and follow up.
  • Audience statistics: if you consent to it, Google Analytics collects usage data (pages viewed, time on site, device type, approximate location). It helps us understand what our visitors care about and improve the site. It is used neither for advertising nor for profiling.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for commercial purposes.

Cookies and consent

No analytics cookie is placed on your device before you accept. On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice; until you accept, no Google script is loaded and no data is sent to Google.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>) that recognize a device from one visit to the next. They expire after two years at most. We keep this usage data for 14 months.

Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it at any time:

This site also uses your browser's local storage to remember the language you picked and the decision above. Those are strictly necessary to run the site and are not used for any tracking.

Third-party services

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): audience measurement, only with your consent.
  • Cal.com: the booking tool embedded in our Contact page is provided by Cal.com, which processes the information you enter in the booking form.
  • Google Fonts: the site's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers.

These providers may process data outside Quebec, in particular in the United States.

Your rights

Quebec's privacy legislation gives you the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to request its deletion, and to withdraw your consent. Write to privacy@netcoder.com and we will act on it promptly.

You can also block cookies directly in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
